 Donald Trump, born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York City, is an American businessman, television personality, and politician. He earned an economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

Trump began his career in real estate, taking over his father’s company in the 1970s and expanding it significantly. He gained fame as a reality television star on "The Apprentice," which aired from 2004 to 2015.

In 2016, Trump ran for president as a Republican, winning the election against Hillary Clinton. His presidency, from January 2017 to January 2021, was marked by significant tax cuts, deregulation efforts, and a controversial immigration policy, along with two impeachments by the House of Representatives.

After losing the 2020 election to Joe Biden, Trump remained a prominent figure in the Republican Party, continuing to influence its direction and politics. He announced a candidacy for the 2024 presidential election. Throughout his career, he has been a polarizing figure, known for his unconventional style and direct communication, often through social media.
